It started off a peaceful little town, just off the shore line. Nowhere else called to spring breakers like the sandy shores of Chapleton Beach, there wasn't a family who didn't dream of the scenery. Hell, even when the rain battered the sand and snow froze the sea the beauty remaind...

That was the only reality, until homes began burning to the ground and children vanished in broad daylight. People who had built their living from nothing to riches packed up and moved out. Without warning, Chapleton was closed off from the rest of the world. Those who stayed were forced into a whole new reality.

Who do you turn to when the worse has yet to come?

Name: Farrah Konaway | Age: Twenty-Two | Creature: Nereid | FaceC: Kristen Stewart | Status: OPEN
“It calls to me, everyday it’s in my head. It’s driving me insane, voices of the sea, and they want me to give in…into what? Into What?!”
Farrah’s closest relationships are with Nebraska and Delilah
She’s been using drugs and alcohol as an escape from the reality of her confusion (It’s only making her spells worse each day)
Though the drowning spells are involuntary, recently she’s become more enticed with the idea of being suffocated by the sea.
—-
Most people are equipped with the natural talent and ability to be just what they became as they grow, that however was not the case for Farrah. She was born into a family who’s blood lines held a undeniable tradition and just couldn’t seem to get it right, an issue that everyone quickly took notice of. As a Nereid the young female had to have sympathy for others, and the desire to help. It was required that above all things she was a protector and a care giver, but that was just not Farrah. She wanted to live by her own rules from the start, and she could care less about sailors or predicting storms. As Farrah got older and started to stir up trouble for sea dwellers, rather than doing what was expected, her parents were given two options; Hand her over to the humans, or kill her. Having no other humane choices, they gave their only daughter up to the land. The last thing that the now young woman remembers, is waking up on a couch in a towel with a man staring down at her. Despite the confusion that followed, she now lives with him in one of the most expensive houses by the shore. Farrah can be rather selfish, rude and very vulgar most of the time. The kindness that she possesses is given to very few people in her life, however it’s not that she chooses to be this way. It’s that she doesn’t understand what’s happening to her. Since her nineteenth birthday, Farrah has began waking from sleep in screaming fits, blacking out and breaking things, falling into uncontrollable fits of rage, and attempting to drown herself every chance she gets. These spells are making her crazy and in her nightmares memories come rushing back, terrible things that vanish just as soon as she’s awake. The ocean is awaiting her return, be it willingly or by force she must remember it all, remember the waters for the hell they actually were.

Name: Blake Teratto | Age: Twenty | Creature: Drac| FaceC: Garrett Nickelsen | Status: OPEN
Calm, goes with the flow, often speaks his mind.
Video games, guitar and writing are his weakness.
Hates his father and wants to live his life his own way, doesn’t like the idea of forcing a girl to have his kid and then raise it for seven years.
Being the son of the legendary Drac, the one who was known for taking the lavender seller and bringing her down to the sea with him to raise his son for seven years and once those years were up releasing her back to the land only for her to enquire a special power to see his kind. He didn’t have an easy childhood, had no idea what love looked like or even what it felt like since his mother was always scared that his father would do something to her. It didn’t help that once he was seven his mother disappeared and when he went to go see her he had to watch her eyes be teared out of her faces by his father only traumatize him more about his kind. Over the years Blake had become very to himself, he didn’t like to socialize with his father, he preferred to stay on land do his own thing. He found peace in writing and videos, he goes with the flow and does what he feels like, he wouldn’t hurt people or cause them harm, to be honest at times he wishes he could just be a human and live the life of a normal boys instead of having to follow his father’s footsteps. Running away from the sea wasn’t going to stop his father from finding him and telling him that it was time for him to find a woman to give birth to a son and raise it for seven years or something terrible would happen. If it wasn’t because of what he is or how important it was for him to have a son, he would have ignored him just like he had been doing for years but this time he couldn’t. Serah, a normal human girl was the only one that caught his attention and the only one he was willing to go out of his way to talk to and explain to her the situation he was under. She isn’t easy but he was able to work out a deal to get her to live with him and pretend to be a happy couple even though the deal was to not fall in love, well it’s harder said than done since all she’s suppose to be is a vessal.

Name: Nebraska Willows | Age: Twenty-One | Creature: Encantado | FaceC: Hayley Williams | Status: CLOSED
“Daddy, he handed me a guitar one day and dared me to sing. He’s the reason I wanted to try, the reason this weak girls voice has strength again. Why I learned to smile.”
Nebraska is very closed off to relationships and doesn’t intend to love in her lifetime
Has a deep connection with Neillion and Dail
She’s promised her father that she’ll never tell Charlotte what they are
She self-harms and can’t find the will to stop

—-

Nebraska, she’s the poster child of the saying “From pain comes beauty.” She was born what many may call, a bastard child. Her parents had very clashing views on what exactly would happen to her, and often fought. Shortly after the birth, Nebraska’s mother took her back to “The Encante” without a word to her father. Four brutal years later; a tiny Nebraska was found on the beach by her father, Charlie Hudson and his new fiancee, Amberlyn. She was bruised, tired and hungry. That night a new life was given to Nebraska, she grew very close to her step mother and lived the life of a normal child with two loving parents. Having totally forgotten about her own mother and The Encante, in fact the first four years of her life vanished from her memory. Until the day that her little sister went missing, Braska was nine at the time and everything came back, the reality crushed her like a wave. For quite awhile the small girl wouldn’t leave her bedroom. She’d just cry, pray, and listen to her already suffering parents wish her well with gentle talks. Eventually she built up enough courage to roll out of bed and even talk to her dad about their kind. It wasn’t easy, but she came to term’s with the fact that she was from the seas. Braska felt guilty, confused, broken and so many other emotions that she couldn’t began to describe and for a long time she held it in. This action kept her sick very often, finally one day her father helped her find a way to express herself. The same way he did, through music. Having grown very sentimental, Nebraska catalogs moments in her head the same way a person would in a photo album and she’ll never forget the day she saw Charlotte again or when their mom left. She’s protective, strong-wiled and sometime’s distant or quick to snap. Despite her flaws, she’s a genuinely good person with a big heart and nothing comes before the things she loves. Nebraska’s Twenty-One now and in a band with people that mean the world to her. She’d put her life on the line to protect the one thing that’s made living worth while again, and she just may have to when she realizes what the monstrous waves have in store for her this time.

Name: Tailena Coraway | Age: Seventeen | Creature: Mermaid | FaceC: Ariana Grande | Status: OPEN
“I’ll never stop loving to write, and I miss speaking but— there’s just something much more compelling calling me away. Far away from here.”
Has been waking up on the beach nude and completely drenched for a month now, without any explanation
Her lonely feelings are returning, much stronger than ever before
Tai is always wearing the charm bracelet her parents gave her when she was first adopted
—-
It’s often that children who have been put through the process of being adopted, may not always have the happiest outlook but Tailena is an exception. When she was just a few weeks old, her parents decided that they wanted their daughter to have a better life than what they felt they could ever provide for her. She was found on the beach and later taken to a local adoption agency, that is where she’d spend her life up until age twelve. Tailena had made the agency a home, she had friends and even staff members cared deeply for the little girl. Her bubbly personality was something that stood out, even when things got dreary. Despite how happy she was, there began to be days when she’d feel incomplete and lost. Tailena wanted a mother and father to love, seeing all of her friends find homes was starting to ware on her and then the day came. A young couple stopped in and the moment they spotted Tailena’s red locks they wanted to get to know her. A month later Tailena had her family, their last name, a beautiful home by the beach, space to play and a puppy. She couldn’t of ever asked for more, as Tailena grew and started to explore her interest she eventually found a love for writing and public speaking. There was nothing like being in front of people and just being heard, jotting down things for hours at a time, poetry, stories, speeches, dreams. Anything that could be written about, her room was painted with lyrics and quotes across rose pink walls. A sanctuary. Then all that changed on a warm night in April, Tailena came home from an outing with her father to find their home engulfed in flames and her mother crying hysterically on the beach. Everything they’d loved and worked for was gone, Tai had never felt a pain like that before in her life and it’s been so hard to start over. Currently the family is living in a hotel suite, because Tai can’t change anything about her surroundings she is rarely at “home” these days. She spends most of her time walking the dog or watching the ocean from the rooms balcony. Seventeen now, it’s obvious that she’d be going through some changes but they might not be to common. Tailena’s been experiencing scale like rashes on her legs and hips, that only water seems to chase away; she hasn’t told anyone. Her love for speaking has given way to a much more reclusive side, and there’s one other thing. She feels an ever-present desire to dive from the highest cliff into the ocean, and never come back.

Name: Raymond Jimenez | Age: Ninteen | Creature: Human | FaceC: Avan Jogia | Status: OPEN
“My thirteen year old sister is dead! She’s gone and this maniac is free, still everyone just goes on with their fucking lives!”
Keeps boxes of photographs he took of the crime scene, they also contain newspaper clippings and other highly disturbing momentous from the tragedy
He’s managed to hold onto his charming and fun personality after being away
Ray keeps his sisters favorite stuffed pink bear with him no matter where he goes
—-
Raymond comes from a fairly wealthy family, and is by birth a nature loving kind of guy. He and his younger sister, Esperanza were raised by their mother after their father passed when they were still both very young. Despite the absence of a father figure, Ray was a respectful and caring child full of ambition. As he got older he adopted his fathers love of photography, and would often go off on his own to snap anything he could. By the time Ray turned fourteen his mother was set to be remarried, and perhaps one of his proudest moments is having been allowed to take his own photographs for the event. Each year he got more talented, and each year he was reaching new heights. At seventeen he was asked to do some shots for various schools, shots that could shape his future. On a Saturday after receiving the request, Ray packed up his equipment and headed out to his favorite spot on the outskirts of Chapleton. It was a small and secluded area surrounded by large trees and lakes, even animals that could never be seen around the beach itself. He’d asked Esperanza who’d tagged along on this particular trip, to stay by a stream that led back out to the road. Simply because he’d felt she’d be safer there, leaving her alone turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of his life. Raymond returned to find his little sister missing, large amounts of blood stained a few rocks, her own camera dropped to the ground and destroyed. The news was everywhere and eventually a man came forward, he was charged with murder and later let out of prison on good behavior. Ray spent weeks distraught and infuriated with the outcome, looking for the man to repay him. Despite his searching he never saw the accused again and eventually left Chapleton to live with his uncle in an attempt to escape his nightmares. He attended school, and enhanced his talents. Though Raymond is still haunted by the memories, he’s back now. The sea has called him home and it has so many secrets to tell.

Name: Soo Jin Rhee | Age: Eighteen | Creature: Human | FaceC: CL | Status: OPEN
“I can’t let fear and a few broken bones paralyze me. Standing up and striking down that enemy is what’ll make me stronger than before.”
Soo Jin has been hearing voices that call her to the sea
Keeps journals instead of talking to her parents, she’s recorded almost everything that’s happened since 5th grade
—-
Soo Jin grew up in the inner city. Ran with a gang, stole from various shops, and got into all the trouble she could every second she could. The difference between her and a now dwindling number of children in her situation was that she rather enjoyed making mayhem. The sirens and the loud fighting of neighbors, sneaking out and staying up late. These were all things that made Jin feel alive, and there wasn’t a thing she trade it for. Until one day when she was heading home from school, deciding to take a short cut was a big mistake on her part. A few days prior, Jin had gotten into a intense argument with two females in the gang she spent her time with. Saying to many of the wrong things got her battered and torn apart in an alley and throw off into a ditch, she was later found by police after being filed as a missing person. Stitches were needed, she suffered a concision and her right leg was permanently damaged, the shattered bones were surgically repaired and she would likely live the rest of her life with pins in said leg. Without a moment of hesitation Soo Jin’s parents moved out of that run down city and to Chapleton, in hopes that their daughter would experience better. Things began looking up, soon after her recovery she started staying out late again and coming home drunk. It’s been a year since the move and Jin just can’t seem to leave her bad girl ways behind, perhaps the sea is to blame.

Name: Charlotte Hudson | Age: Ninteen | Creature: Selkie | FaceC: Charlavail Effron | Status: CLOSED
“There were so many days spent just wishing I were dead, but I barely knew what life was yet.”
After getting use to so little food, she doesn’t eat much
Sometimes her perceptions of reality are childlike and strange
—-
Charlotte was born to a very loving family, they may not of had a lot of money. What they did have though was lots of love and compassion to give their only daughter. What they could make happen for her, they did and what they couldn’t they prayed she could one day make happen for herself. However, one day Charlotte’s fairytail came crashing down around her. It was on her 7th birthday when it happened. She’d went outside to play, and simply never came back in. Her parent’s world had shattered, and her life had changed. For years Charlotte lived in a rundown apartment with a man who would only let her call him Daddy, and nothing else. She knew it was sick, she knew this man was a drunk who’s only motives were to hit and abuse her so that she’d work for him. He treated her like an animal and was not the father who tucked her in every night and loved her. Eventually her perception of reality cracked, and everything that she lived became natural. The unusual punishments, lack of food, and baby-doll outfits. That was until two years ago, when she finally escaped from him. Charlotte made it back to her family, but shortly after her mother disappeared and that left her father a terrible depressed mess. Charlotte is still unaware that her kidnapper was a ex lover of her mothers who’d try to steal her Selkie skin and claim her as his bride, foolishly he let her escape. Only to take Charlotte in return of the betrayal, and had planned a forced marriage to take place once she was twenty. She often wanders the beach searching for her mother. She could never understand why, but something calls her there every night.

This is not a jock or theft of the RPG tumblr page that was created a few days ago, that was known as “Shoreline Forgotten” It’s the exact same RPG actually, with the exact same owner. However, being the dunce that I sometimes am, I used an old password and email when creating the page without realizing it and found that I was unable to log back in the next day. SO. This is a remake, and the name is now Shorelines Forgotten. I’ll try and have everything up and running as soon as possible, and I hope you’ll all be interested in my little creation. Luckily, I didn’t get anything going on the other account before realizing my little mix up! ;D
